| Renaissance - Special visit to New Hope |

Today was a very special one at New Hope as we hosted the very quickly rising worship group known as
Renaissance. Renaissance is a ministry of Bethel College (McKenzie, TN) composed of very gifted
singers, musicians and most recently, actors. Bethel College is an adjunct institution of higher education of
the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Today, which is also Donny's twelfth anniversary as pastor at New Hope, was blessed. We as a
congregation joined in one voice to worship the Lord with fifty more very proficient singers to lift on high the
Name of the Lord. Under the direction of Mr. Peter Jeffrey, Renaissance led us in worship with everything
from traditional and contemporary worship styles to bluegrass and black spiritual. It was a day to
remember. God was in the house in such a special way. We are grateful to Peter, his staff, and
Renaissance for making the effort to share with us what God has given to them.
As the day ended, Brother Donny had a powerful word of encouragement and exhortation for the group.
After proclaiming over them what the Lord had laid on his heart, Donny prayed a blessing over the group
as they continue their nine day tour over more than five states. You can learn more about Bethel College
